Tickets are valid for the parks throughout the current season. Tickets for guided tours are non-refundable.

Park tickets can be purchased from the Tourist Office at preferential rates Only our nature, cultural and water-based tours can be booked online. You can visit the Gujan-Mestras Tourist Office, 37 Avenue du Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny, during opening hours

Q: Is the Maison de l'Huître open to children?

The Maison de l’Huître welcomes visitors of all ages throughout the year to learn about the oyster farming trade, farming techniques and the history of oysters over the centuries. Please feel free to ask for an educational booklet at reception for primary school children.

You can get preferential rates by buying your tickets at the Tourist Office from April to November.

Eratopia

Terra Aventura and puzzle games

Set off to explore Gujan-Mestras in a fun way, like a treasure hunt, thanks to the various puzzle games dotted around the town.

With the free Tèrra Aventura app, let Zisséo help you investigate and find the cache where the Poi’z are hiding… With over 600 trails across Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Tèrra Aventura often has the whole family hooked on the Poi’z!

For primary school children, set off on the ‘Pistes de Robin’ to explore the various harbours of Gujan-Mestras. A certificate and a prize will be waiting for them when you return to the Tourist Office!

Two further treasure hunts, at two different levels, are also available from the Tourist Office or the Maison de l’Huître (the booklet costs 2 euros). With ‘Sacrée Gigasse7’, set off as a family to explore the ports of Gujan and Larros. For the more adventurous, the ‘Les Pérégrinations de Pépé Uistre’ treasure hunt will take you to the ports of the Canal and La Barbotière.

For the more daring, a tabletop escape game is available in the evenings at the Maison de l’Huître during the off-season. Come and try to free the Hurfana pearl (ages 12 and over) in exactly one hour!

Guided tours offered by the Office

The various guided tours offered by the Tourist Office will allow you to discover the town and its surroundings in a different way, whether from a cultural, natural or historical perspective. Children’s favourite tour is undoubtedly exploring the treasures of the foreshore at low tide, with their feet in the mud as they search for the various ‘inhabitants’ of the foreshore, whilst learning about the importance of preserving this sensitive environment.

A stop-off in Larros offers a chance to explore the history of Larros harbour, the shipyards, and the history of Gujan-Mestras, complete with its fascinating anecdotes.
