Guided tours proposed by the Office

The various guided tours offered by the Tourist Office will enable you to discover the town and its surroundings in a different way, whether on a cultural, natural or historical level. Children’s favorite is surely the discovery of the foreshore’s treasures at low tide, with their feet in the mud in search of the foreshore’s various “inhabitants”, all the while learning about the preservation of this sensitive environment.

The Maison de l’Huître welcomes young and old all year round to discover the oyster-farming profession, farming techniques and the history of the oyster over the centuries. Don’t hesitate to ask for an educational booklet at reception for primary school children.

A stopover in Larros means a visit to discover the history of the port of Larros, the shipyards, and the history of Gujan-Mestras with its anecdotes.

Take advantage of the extensive cycling network in the commune and on the Bassin d’Arcachon for a safe family outing!
