Cycling is an excellent way to get around and visit the Bay of Arcachon. With a network of over 300km of cycle paths, the Bay is a popular cycling destination.

Leave your car (and the traffic jams!) behind, get on your bike and pedal at your own pace along the safe cycle paths.

The main cycle path around the Bay of Arcachon is the Vélodyssée. This is the cycle path that runs along the entire Atlantic coast, from Roscoff to Hendaye.

      COBAS cycle route map

      The Communauté de Communes du Sud Bassin (COBAS ) has created a number of different cycle routes, represented by round coloured signs along the cycle paths. Each route has a different number and colour, making it easier to find your way around.
